ABOUT STACY
Stacy earned her BA in English and MA in Education and holds a School Counseling certification. She worked for over 15 years in the non-profit sector developing youth enrichment programming then transitioned to the New York City Department of Education to continue empowering students and advocating for equity. She is a system disrupter deeply invested in creating healthy diverse, equitable, and inclusive communities.
Stacy is currently working to complete her Licensed Mental Health Clinician credentials. Stacy has experience in supporting adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety and stress management, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Therapeutic methods Stacy uses are individual, small group counseling, person-centered, crisis intervention, and Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Stacy plans to help break down the stigma of what "therapy" means to some, by helping to create impactful support for culturally diverse populations seeking generational healing and advocate for equitable mental health services for all.
